yes it does but that is why when cingular or tmo gets a 3g blackberry i am leaving verizon and their crippled phones!

It really comes down to how fast (or slow) Qualcomm is about doing their QA on their chips for CDMA. Of course it would be nice when these new phones come out, Verizon doesn't cripple them (e.g. GPS).

I like the article. It should also not be lost that business accounts are slower to change their devices. The cost of change with the logistics of deploying a large number of devices keeps the business world a little slower to act than the single user. Add to that the government contracts (my area) and you get change moved to a crawl. Verizon knows their customer.
