Default Big Sim Card Problems - Help Pls!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Ok I have just returned from the US where I had a Tmobile US sim in my Blackberry 8300 and it worked perfectly. I have no returned to the UK and stupidly I have lost my sim card, so I went to the tmobile shop and have got a new sim card. Now when i turn on my phone it says the sim is rejected. I phoned tmobile and they are just sending me another sim card. I personally don't think this will work but it could be the girl in the store didn't register it correctly.

I am just wondering if there is anything in the phone settings that I need to change? I have pulled the battery and checked the sim still no go.

Oh and also where on mytmobile can i check my Imei number etc?

Thanks.

Post Sim rejected

Hi...
You need to call T-Mobile and they should be able to activate this Sim if it has not already been provisioned. By having the phone see the network and the sim card rejected notification, it would appear that they have not provisioned your account correctly. Just have your IMEI and Sim Card # ready and see if they can activate this sim. It is possible to have different Sim Cards but the fact that your seeing the rejection notice would indicate this Sim should work if it has not already been provisioned once before.

Good luck...

H.
