hi all,
i downloaded Pocket Mac for Blackberry Curve today. I synced all my iCal, contacts, etc. from my Blackberry to my new iMac but the few calendar entries i have on the iMac will not transfer onto the Blackberry.
i have been syncing my blackberry to and from my PC with no problems.
just wondering why the iMac calendar enteries are not transferring. btw, i am not using mobile me.
thank you for any help.

Do a search for this on this forum. There are many people having problems with the curve and PM. There have also been some solutions, like getting current drivers to sync with the curve.
rescue, if you're talking to me, no pocketmac is not working with my curve. i've uninstalled pocketmac and downloaded missing sync and i'm having the same problem! it must be something stupid that i'm doing.
Yes - PocketMac works well for me with the curve. It had been very frustrating for a while because I got stuck with 2 issues:
1. after successful use for a couple of months, I tried to use it with Bluetooth on a windows machine and that then screwed up the sync channel on the mac
2. my mac had some major issues that prevented PM from seeing my iCal calendars - tried just about everything and then ended up re-installing Leopard
Now I play it safe and synch the curve with the Mac only
mccamb, i'm using Curve with OS X 10.5. The 1st time i synced (I have all my contacts and calendar entries in the Curve that was synced from my PC) everything from Curve transfered over easily using PocketMac. The problem is the few iCal entries I have on the new iMac did not transfer over to the Curve.
So I uninstalled PocketMac and am now using MissingSync and still the same problem. Just can't get iCal entries over to the iMac.
On another note, will I still be able to sync the Curve with my PC as well? Would like to keep all contacts and calendar entries on both machines.
thank you for any help.
Apologies for the delayed response. Here is my experience:
1. I had 2 problems - a). I cd not communicate between the Mac and BB b). Once I solved problem #1, I faced an issue where my Calendars did not show up as categories under iCal Advanced Options for Calendar sync
2. I solved a) by re-installing the BB OS (discovered by trial and error)
3. I tried everything I could to fix b) - deleted everything I could think of relating to Pocket Mac etc. But there was something stuck deep in the guts of Leopard. Finally not knowing what to do I re-installed Leopard which cleared up my problem.
I dont know the answer to your question about whether you can sync with both iMac and PC. I have not attempted to do so again lest those problems recur and I certainly dont want to have to re-install Leopard - that was painful!
