On my 8350i i installed some theme i downloaded for the 8300 series...they should work right? well i installed them and went to the Themes area in the phone and they arent there...so then i pulled the sd card and put the .cod files on the card reinserted and then used BBfiles to look at the card and i clicked on the cod file it gave me the option to unpack and when i do it says currently in use any suggestions?

1. Go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications and see if you can find the themes in the applications list. If so, do a battery pull for about 30 seconds , then check the Themes menu again. (You may have to do this a couple of times to get the themes visible in the themes menu).

2.If you don't see them in the applications list, try re-installing them via Desktop Manager.

do themes also have to be the same os? like can u use 4.2 themes on 4.6?

They do need to be for the same OS.

The 8350i will not load previous themes made for the 83XX series. They have to be written for the OS 4.6, which can only be done with plazmic themebuilder ver 4.7.

For the 4.6 ones, apparently yes. For others, no. I have a Verizon 8330 with 4.5 and am using themes for 4.2 and 4.3, as well as for 4.5.

I HAVE A 8350i AND NO THEMES WORK FOR ME @ ALL THEY ARE IN MY APP LIST BUT DON'T SHOW ...I PULLED BATTERY SEVERAL TIME STILL NOTHING
