I just picked up the BB bold for my father and he is complaining the screen is very fragile compared to his 8830 World Edition. The screen although is better resolution and color the color merges when he is clicking the back button or end button. It kind of looks like if you press in an LCD screen with your finger.

Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this issue? I just want to make sure he is not hurting the LCD screen

Not hurting it. The LCD has an integrated screen protector instead of a hard lens cover. I think this was introduced to eliminate the issue with dusk between the lens and the LCD. Is it as durable, I don't think so but so far it's holding up and looks great!
