PEARL LED light flash Problems!

I am having the following issue with my pearl.. Any ideas?
I have the coverage LED set to flash green --- coverage indicator (on)
After sitting for a while, no light at all flashes (even if I happen to get an email, still no red light).
I hit a button, and then when the phone comes up, the light is flashing red.
Also, I have the profile setting on all of the settings (including phone) to repeat notification: LED Flash but the light doesnt flash red when I have a missed call, like it does for new messages.
Is there a bug fix for the LED issues?
