NEED SOME INFO PLEASE!!!!

I have a curve 9300 3g, i accidently cracked the screen while leaning on my car it was in my pocket...i ordered a new screen correct part number x2...i installed the new screen and i get a white screen, but if i put my cracked screen back in half my cracked screen works...i can navigate but its only partial screen...both new screen gives me the same result... any idea on why my cracked screen works and the fone is still operational but the 2 new screen give me white screen????? help plz any ideas!!!

My only guess would be it was the wrong part #.
