I have the 8520 running 5.0 and somehow a setting was changed that every time a message is sent/recieved, the screen lights up. This kills my battery. I have searched to try and find a setting/notification to turn off. No luck...

Any Suggestions.

Why not use "automatically dim backlight setting" and choose a lower backlight setting it should save enough power.
