I have my BES Outlook on my BB. When I click the envelope icon, I just want to see my inbox. I am keeping my PC and BB inbox down to 20 or below and when I open the envelope, I see a ton of emails.........sent, etc.

How can I change this.....I tried searching?

I have a 9300. I changed it in my profile, but still shows 3600? Is this the right section?

This is the correct section for your post concerning BES.

Your profile shows your BB as 9300.

are you looking at messages or desktop icon?

Messages is a catch all folder.

Desktop can be made to show only inbox and not sent items if you desire.
there are a few setting in message and or desktop options for this.

You can set "Hide Sent Items" to "Yes", so you will only see your received mails.

......I just click the messages folder (envelope) and everything is there. I seldom want to see a sent message.

I don't see a desktop icon. If I choose to only view inbox under messages, will I still see my BBIM and text in the inbox?

you can choose if you want to see text messages as well. The visibility of instant messages has to be set in the IM program.
