Will an Otterbox Commuter series for a 8530/3530 fit my Curve 9300?

I don't know if it will fit, but both of my sons paid outrageous prices for the Commuter cases after Christmas. Both have broken and been replaced already. One IPhone was badly damaged after just being dropped, and the Otterbox warranty does not cover the damage to the phone. If they break that often, and your phone is not covered, then I wonder why bother!

ivebeen considering one of these for my 9360 but wonder if they are worth it... cases are generally few bucks and these are on the high side. wondering if they are worth the money.... then again they are suppopsed to be protecting a pretty important device....
