Default DM 4.7 for 8320, is it possible?

DM 4.7 in 8320, is it possible?

I've upgraded my 4.2 with 4.5 already and it looks great.
But since downloading DM from blackberry.com is a hard task (unsuccessful in 12 different attempts, I never figure it out why) I hesitate to do so..

Need your comments ... thanks

Are you asking whether you can use Desktop Manager 4.7 with an 8320?

If so, the answer is Yes.

Thank you for your response & time, especially from the one with the expertise such as your self,

to clarify matters, I would like to mention one or two things...

My status in brief:I'm in Indonesia, using Telkomsel, when startup splash screen shows T-Mobile.

I realized that you have to use particular device manager & appropriate desktop manager. In my case I have to use the following installment file.
8320EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55_T elkomsel.exe
What actually are the consequences if I do not comply and installed different device desktop manager?.

Lets say the T-Mobile matching device & desktop manager, would it be a matter?.

As I have mentioned earlier it is very hard for me to download the file.

Thank you in advance.

Desktop Manager is a generic product. Just download it from RIM.

Just to respond to the earlier points you made, device software is different from desktop software. The desktop manager software can be downloaded from BlackBerry as per the link above, you can use any version with older BB software (so Desktop Manager 4.7 will support devices with software releases up to 4.7. Certain older versions of Desktop Manager do not always have the right device drivers to allow charging of devices with a newer software release version, although I *think* synch is always OK).

Anyway, as far as I know, there would be no issues with you downloading the newest version of Desktop Manager from RIM (BlackBerry.com) and using that on your PC.
