I am reviewing it. Back in the dark ages before I was mature I had a WM device and it was a great piece of software.

Same here. Loved it on both platforms. Should give PI good competition if the port is as solid as the others.

Do you see this program as significantly better than the native PIM?

I'm very interested in some first-person reviews. I have long considered the native PIM to be the weak spot in the BB format (on BIS) and would love a viable alternative.

I installed the trial on my Pearl...an issue on the 81xx devices is screen real estate...there isn't enough room left-to-right, the way Agendus formats things, to show enough info to make it useful for calendar entries. A standard "Today" theme does a much better job.

On a wider BB this likely isn't an issue...

I can't get it to launch on my 8800... clicking on the icon does nothing. I did delete it and reinstalled... to no avail. Majorly disappointed.

It seemed to slow down my 8800 quite a bit. I toyed with Agendus back on the Palm platform, but always seemed to prefer DateBK4/5/6 over Agendus.

It certainly looks much better than the native PIM apps on the BB, but again, it seemed like it dragged my system speed down too much. Uninstalled. Maybe I'll try again with a later version.

YMMV.

That's another issue I forgot to mention...all of calendar views were very s-l-o-w on my pearl 8130...when changing between days/weeks etc., in views using the trackball the lag was really long, to the point that you would try again and then end up at the wrong place. Really unworkable for me...

Ditto on my 8330. Buh bye Agendus.

I had the same problem of the app not opening, a battery pull fixed that.
That being said, it was way to slow to be of any use. I downloaded Pocket Informant instead, bought it two hours into the trial. It rocks!

Battery pull did not work for me... tried it... and deleted the app... good riddance - at least at this point in its life cycle...

Looks like a cool app...but still a little high for what I would use it for..just with the BB Calendar app could show the entries at the bottom on the month view like this and Pocket Informant...that's all I want is the monthly calendar thing

It's not what you may have been used to. I saw someone state it is like Agendus version 3 version the current Palm version 7. So lot's of functionality not there yet. I have been having issues with contacts not showing up. Their support seems to direct you to their forum where every tom dick and harry are offering advice but the developer. I bought it for only $9.95 as a pre-release so still going to stick it out.
