Default Locating other phones? GPS Apps...

Please Login to Remove!

Here's the parameters:

My mom has a Droid G2. My brother has a Mytouch. My dad has an iPhone. They all have individual InstaMapper accounts, and I've been talked into getting a GPS enabled phone. My choice is the BB 9700 Bold.

Now, is there one App available where I can plug all my family into the app and it will tell me where they all are? As it stands now, I have to log into three separate accounts on InstaMapper to find any one of the three of them.

I'd like to find one App that we all can use, that will show each one of us where the others are.

Is there such a thing?

Sign everyone up for a different Google Account. No need to use it, just sign up and login once.

On each phone, go to
m.google.com/gmm

Download and run Google Maps for Mobile. Once you can see you blue dot (you may need to stand outside for 10 mins), Options=>Latitude, sign in with your (individual) Google Accounts. Then add each other.

The Droid will already have this installed; as will the MyTouch. For iPhone because of lack of multitasking, you could only see updates from your Dad if he had the latitude app open. BB is well supported by Latitude.

Hi lancer525, I would highly recommend you to SafeTREC application I have with my family. You can easily locate them anywhere and anytime. This is very useful especially in emergency situations just a press of a panic button and it will alert all the family members and you can summon immediate help to the nearest 911 in your area. This is life-saving protection for your family SafeTREC.com
