9530 touchscreen problem
Please Login to Remove!
My co-worker has a 9530 which is having some touchscreen problems:
I can't select the 'D' and 'L' keys, whether in landscape or portrait. I also notice that the (blue) highlight skips these keys. Like when I move from 'S' to 'D' to 'F', the 'D' key is not highlighted.
And the top portion of the screen is sometimes unresponsive to touch.
I already did a battery pull, and this doesn't resolve the issue.
I'm guessing this may be software related. I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks.

Re: 9530 touchscreen problem
An OS update hasn't solved the problem either.
So...now I'm thinking this is a hardware issue.

Re: 9530 touchscreen problem
"Wet" doesn't necessarily mean took a swim. Generally, people have reported moisture exposure issues, like keypad problems, from something as slight as a sweaty pocket or a humid shower room.

Re: 9530 touchscreen problem
The problem apears in landscape and portrait mode. It can't be hardware problem because location of these buttons on the screan. Try to downgread or upgrade your OS.

Re: 9530 touchscreen problem
My BB never got wet, but I live in a tropical weather place and changes from indoor AC places to the otside do result in condensation on the blackberry screen (guess same thing inside of it). So my screen finally went black, the phone works perfectly (I found an application called BBSAK with which I made a wipe and am able to see on my PC what the phone is showing on its screen through a snapshot of it ) but the screen is totally black. this is the second screen I buy and this one lasted for one month and a half. I am buying the last one and getting rid of this phone. Will get an iphone instead.
