Default Blackberry Device as a Gift?

Please Login to Remove!

Purely our of curiosity, how many of you have received new Blackberry devices as a present/gift this Holiday Season? What model did you get, who gave the gift, and where does it rank in the gifts received?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Wish I'd get a BB as a gift that would rock

Every year after the holidays, I always get myself a little something extra with money I receive from family. This years gift will be the BB pearl. I will order it in the next couple of days. It's a nice way of extending the holiday season.

It sure beats getting some stupid things and putting on a fake smile only to return them while waiting on long lines.

Got myself the Pearl, got the wife the Pearl, then two 8 GB cards, and two Moto S705 BT stereo headset/FM radios as well.

Merry Christmas!

She (the anti-technology type) is completely hooked, and I am excused my Pearl attraction.

Mine was a gift, it was from myself, and it ranked pretty high on the list of gifts.

I had been thinking about getting one for a while, and when I was on the phone ordering a new phone for my Dad for Christmas, I decided to see what I could do in the way of discounts, etc.

I'm hooked. I got the pearl, and at first I wasn't too sure about it only because it wasnt a full keyboard, but it is amazing, and I'm glad I went this route rather than having my first one be a BB that is twice the size.
