Default Battery loosing charge

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone. I am having a problem keeping charge on my BB battery. I can charge it 8hrs and within 12 hours its dead. During the day and at work, keep in my belt clip on standby. Does any one have and suggestions on how to keep charge.

That is a myth about BT, i keep mine enabled 24/7 and I don't have that issue.

Sounds like an app is running in the background. Do a battery pull that will shut down all programs running.

I set my BT to discovery mode No. Do you use GPS? I manually close out of google maps when I am done tracking or GPSing. Check to make sure that your player is not playing music or videos. I have video demos on my phone (without sound) running those in the background will run down the battery.
Another note; I get about 50-150 emails per day. The heavy email days will drive the battery down faster. I modified the profile so that emails get one vib and a short tone. SMS get two and a short tone and phone calls get three vib and music.
With the changes and precautions, I can use my batt for a day and a half.
Btw: I just used the video player to play two full length movies on the airplane. The battery decreased by 10% for each movie.
