Hi,

First of all I am a newbie but have some experience getting it working on a system. Hence my query is slightly different than the other ones. Hope somebody can give me pointers.

What's working:
On my Windows XP laptop -- I can launch the simulator along with MDS and it works fine. It works only from my office intranet though!! When I am outside, I disable the proxy settings it stops working. Even within a VPN environment I cannot get the simulator to access internet via its browser.

What I am trying to get working --
I have a duplicate setup of Eclipse on a Windows 2003 server right next to me. It has IE 8, Firefox, Chrome & Safari installed. All of them can access the internet. I also have the proxy settings exactly the same as what I have in my laptop. I have given it the same ethernet cable connection from my laptop to validate if it works. It launches MDS and I can see the outbound request being made. But I cannot get it to work.

For the record, there is no Firewall on the server. It has Symantec AV (same as my laptop).

What services does the Simulator require to get it going on the Internet? MDS definitely is running and I can see the request being made in the console. But there is no response.
