Default Email Set-up Problem (8520)

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my 8520 for almost two years and have recently tried to add a couple of email accounts from our company email domain - but failed! Many converstations with the mobile provider (Virgin Media) and email provider (Just Host) have drawn a blank!

By way of a test I've managed to add a Gmail address, without a problem. However, add a new company email goes nowhere despite there already being two company email addesses on the BB, which were set up a couple of years ago. In the process of testing and trying things out I deleted one of these addresses and can't reinstate it - so I've sort of gone backwards!

Both mobile provider and email provider claim everything to be okay from their side. I've searched around and can't seem to find anyone else whose experienced this problem - and suggestions would be very welcome!

Maybe you need to talk to the company IT staff or the ISP support team to get the correct permissions and set up instructions.

Is the device on BES and the IT Policy prohibits it?

How are you trying to enter the account - on the phone or via the carrier's BIS site?

I believe it's on BIS but I'm not sure how to check it - can you do this via the BB?

I've tried entering the new new email details (many, many times) via both the BB and mobile provide (Virgin Media) dedicated website. I've attached screengrabs which cover the website process - may help!
