Default Multiple Handsets, One Mailbox

Hi,

I have several users who carry more than 1 blackberry. Id like to have them be able to access/synch their exchange mailbox from both devices. Is this possible? Running BES and Exchange 2003

If not, any suggested workarounds or best practices?

You can't have multiple Blackberry devices on a single BES account/mailbox.

The suggested workaround is to only carry one device. Why are they carrying two? Why the need to have the same mail account on more than one device?

I ran in to this last year when one of my Sr VP's (he has a bb also)wanted his assistant to have a blackberry also with his email on it, so she could also check his email when she was away from her desk.

I was recently asked by a co-worker if the scenario by the original poster was possible, they want to use 2 BB's to access the one account.

Is the answer to this still no? Or has there been a change on the current BES server to allow something like this?

The answer is still no. Nothing has changed in the last 5 days.

You can get an assistant access to the boss's calendar, contacts, etc on the assistant's own BB using the secondary folder sync in Intellisync and by having the assistant granted access to those items via Exchange. Email, however, has to be forwarded or something. There's no way to grant the assistant direct access to the boss's mail folders.
