I don't think this is a malfunction, but I noticed 8900's vibration is pretty weak compared to 8300. I noticed 8120 was also weak, like the vibration motor is spinning slower than it does on other phones, or as if the vibrating drum is smaller than the other phones. Does this bother anyone else?

not just the 8900 but the bold too.

not that I find its any different than other phones ive had.

I noticed the weaker vibration on a lot of newer cell phones. I had an old school nokia that would rattle itself off the desk when it vibrated.

i thought my 8310 was a little noisy when it vibrated. but at least i could feel it. i now miss a lot of calls because of the weak vibration of the 8900. i have a feeling they designed it to spin the motor a little slower to conserve power

If you install a program like BerryBuzz (which lets you set different LED color notifications), you can also use that program to increase the duration of the vibration and the interval between vibrations....
