Default Not all emails being pushed

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Over the past few days something weird has been happening.

My emails will start arriving on the phone but when I check the Inbox on my PC there are more emails that just didnt get pushed. And the weird thing is that I recieved some earlier ones and some later ones but one in the middle didnt push. Does anyone know why that would happen? I have cjecked my filters and thats not the reason (specifically becuase of the few email that didnt get pushed yesterday and today, the same email addresses were coming through fine a few days ago!)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I also had this happen and I found out that I had my account on my home PC setup as POP3 which once you download the message it's gone from the server. I use to leave my Outlook at home open and it would check every 5 minutes for new email. Problem was that sometimes Outlook downloaded the email before the BIS service queried the server for it. So BIS never saw the message before it was downloaded and never knew about it.

To correct this I told my home email client to leave a copy of the message on the server for 1 day after downloading. It's under advance options for the account in Outlook.

I stopped getting my emails yesterday! Got up this morning and BB showed none, but my computer had 13! I went on Tmo and my info seemed gone. Showed no phone chosen and when I tried to access my email setup, it said " sorry, but you do not have permission to access that info" or something like that! Is this a Tmo problem? I sent myself a Tmo email from my phone and got it on my phone, but the home computer address email, I cannot send from my BB.

Strange!!

PS I have a new desktop I purchased a few days ago. Any chance this is stemimg from this?

can you or anyone explain to me how AOL works? Does AOL use POP3 or is it all web based on the application. Do you use the AOL application to check for email? or do you have Outlook or another client setup to download the email?

I cant see this being anything but a service provider issue! Nothing else makes sense. I dont have time to call tmo now, but I will find out today some time!

Wirelessly posted

I had a similar issue with my emails. For some reason I would always miss an email or two...
No filters were in place. I wrote a script to send 10 consecutive test emails to my account and I would rarely receive all of them.

This was fixed when I reloaded the OS but chose not to restore any bb settings ( except for address book ).

Found MY problem with the help of Tmo. The email address that stopped coming through had somehow UN-validated itself. I had to go into my setup folder and into "manage internet email". All 3 of my emails are listed but the one that stopped showed "not validated". Validated it, and I was good to go. Emails started showing up again!

Hope this helps someone!

And one other thing, when I try to access my email setup on Tmo's site, it says I do not have access, please refer to you handheld device. Now I see my email accounts are listed in my manage email folder. I can add more or delete the ones I have, just like I used to do on the website. This may have happened when I installed the service bokks for the browser and MMS and such. ??

I have had this happen lately - emails show up on pc but not Bold. But when I do a "Reconcile now" from the Bold they will show up. And its not just a timing issue, they show up on my pc up to an hour or more before I do this.

Could this be a BB network issue or a hardware issue? I use a variety of POP accounts but not sure if it effects some or all.
