As the title says, I get status updates and replies to my bold 9700 by text but when I reply, the text won't sent and I get a big red cross and a message “network out of order"

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? And what was the resolution?

I have had problems sending text messages in the past, and a battery pull fixed it.
