Why should they? It took me, oh, an hour to get used to the E62.

Keyboard isn't too bad, love the light sensitive backlighting.. The issue is the buttons are rounded and it's really easy to hit multiple keys..

In the short time I have been using the E61 I like the keyboard A LOT better. The keys are larger, and work really well with my big hands. (Ring size 13.5 on my ring finger!)

Having tried an E61 I agree that I like the keys and the layout.

However I cannot put up with how very slow the Symbian OS is. And compared to a BlackBerry they have a long way to go with the interface to make it intuitive and easy to implement all the functionality.

It appears that on the new upcoming BB 8800 they have gone back to keys that are shaped for ease of use and fast typing.

I find the BlackBerry device the very best choice currently available.
