I tried sending a SMS this evening in Chicago and I keep getting a red cross in my message window.

Could it be that TM has switch off the service for SMS over GPRS or are their server just down or something.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Email and browsing are working fine.

Network to send over is GPRS

Pls confirm, I still can't send or receive SMS over GPRS as of this evening

on Cingular, do you get charged if SMS is going over GPRS instead of GSM?

Cingular doesn't allow SMS over GPRS.
