Let's be fair...neither was our shaved chimp. In fact, it all came down to that one judge that gave him the presidency back in 2000.

Hey now, let's not resort to personal attacks, there's no fun in that ;)
I personally avoid labeling myself liberal, conservative, republican, democrat, independent or anything of the sort... I've got nothing against Bush, other than the fact that he's a politician and I dislike all of them. I'll talk trash about Kerry, Kennedy, and Obama if you'd prefer ;)
Cheers

I'd say the reason for this is that in the US we had free unlimited local calling plans with our phone companies. In Europe I heard they paid by the minute to call their closest neighbor years ago, so having cell phones that had minute plans was more ecnomical than paying by the minute. Also I heard their wired network was horrible and not capable of todays current sophisticated phone features, wireless was the only way to truly go sooner than the US.
My mother(50's) still doesnt have a cell phone or even call id/waiting because she can call all of her neighbors friends for all her needs.

SmartPHONES not smart people. Although, I've met plenty of homegrown Americans who can't outsmart a houseplant. (The houseplant is smart enough to lean towards light.)

As is normally the case, namecalling like this as you continue to indulge in is generally nothing more than another way of saying "they don't agree with my viewpoint or opinions. I'll refrain from the name-calling characterizations in return and leave that low road to you, as it almost always says more about the one doing it than the one(s) they're attacking.

Yes, we're all thankful for the Topeka 18th volunteer militia that keeps our North East borders safe! The Newfie's are coming! The Newfie's are coming!
All that free Canadian healthcare would be horrible if they took over...won't someone PLEASE think of the poor pharmaceutical companies?
All kidding aside I think we both have one common goal...detatching the North Eastern states from the US. A man can dream...

i Have the luxury of being in new england and part of the tri-state area, as CT is smack in the middle of both. Not many more relaxing yet versatile spots than new england, you can ski, hit the worlds LARGEST single casino, send your lady to a spa, hunt, fish, boat... whatever makes you smile, couple that with NYC 60 minutes from my front door, I'd say your just about out of arguments for whatever trailer park ridden state your barking from...

I never said that new england wasn't a nice place to live. My point is that without the rest of the country, primarily the Midwest and the South (you know, the Red states), the liberal-minded northeast would have no way to defend itself, not that it would have the guts to anyway.

Since you're just begging for it ...
Your so-called blood-red states were lead there by those who used to be Democrats [Dixiecrats -> Bluedogs -> Boll Weevils] who switched parties for the sake of opportunism. Republicans were so impotent they had to buy the competition. That's been the leadership of the Republican party since Truman through Nixon through today. Nothing honorable or noteworthy about them.
