Attempted to update to the new OS. There were six stages to the updating process, and the update went smoothly till the last stage (restoring the data back to the device). It made it about 70% through and then stopped....Waited all day and nothing has changed.

I disconnected the phone thinking the data was the only thing incomplete, and I could simply install the backed up data. However now when I try to transfer the data back to the phone, the transfer screen won't even budge. I have no idea what to do. Also, now when I connect my phone to the desktop manager, the manager now turns gray and I cannot select anything within the manager.
* It appears all my contacts were loaded, but no photos, videos, or music was restored...and when I attempt to open any of those folder on my phone, it freezes.

You may have to do an OS reload to clean up any corruption that was caused. the photos may have been blocked because a password was needed on the BB to continue.

At least you have a backup.
