alright, the battery where it is supposed to show how much is left it is in red and has a ? nect to the battery symbol, also i cant charge it, sometimes i can get it to stay on on the charger but its hard enough doing that, and i think it charges a little but only lasts a few hours so idk...i have 3 batterys i tohught it was jsut the battery so i bought 2 new ones and they wont do anything it says low batterty and it shuts off when u turn it on because theresn ot enough juice so idk what to do...


any help? i called blackberry they refused to help me because my carrier is unicel they said call them but unicel doesnt work with blackberry so im screwed.

Have you tried charging the BB via the USB from your deskstop?

yeah i have...tried car charger, wall charger, 2 usb cords, its the blackberry itself can i do like a system restore or like complete reset?

sounds like the device itself is having an issue. possibly the charging port is damaged or dirty

try cleaning the contacts on the device itself. a cotton swab with a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol should do the trick (if its just dirty not damaged)

alright i just cleaned the contacts both i nthe charge part and where trhe battery goes... nothing changed....isd there a system restore or like reset the whole phone?

you may need a better device maybe. after all the 7290 is too out of date maybe,and the hardware should not be in good conditions by now
