I know this topic has been covered however my issue seems to be more complicated and I cannot find the answer..
I keep receiving emails from the above address with the following:
This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.
However I have removed all blackberry and research in motion folders and applications from my pc. I have removed all of the above from my registry also. I had a redirect on my pop account which I have also deleted. I cannot understand how the link to my email is still alive.. O2 who are my carrier assure me they have deleted my email account on their servers so the connection should not exist anymore?
thats great thanks a mill!
one last think are the service books easy to find on the bb? Its just that I am not looking at one at the moment and wonder could I talk my boss through it on the phone..
options -> service books
tools -> settings service books
or
options -> advanced options -> service books
resyncing won't work if you got rid of redirector
he'll have 2 desktop service books. once he deletes them those messages will stop
as long as he still has web client he'll continue to receive email through the BIS
if your using a BES then yes; resyncing should resolve it - may need to genreat encription keys
This is always an issue with SPAM filters in the case of a BES environment, or service books in the case of an Internet Mail device. With BES just allow anything through the SPAM filter thats *.blackberry.net as the digits after the network@etp bit can vary (I've seen both 03 and 04)
