Default Problems with BES 4.1.6 for Exchange (SP6)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi!
After upgrading my BES from 4.1.5 to 4.1.6.10 (SP6) w I've noticed that there is a problem in BlackBerry Manager console. If you click on tab label to sort users by name or any other criteria it is changind order they appear but it's all wrong, so basicly is impossible to order users correctly. Any other problems or sollution for mine?
best regards

have not seen this issue when we upgraded. I do now see where the 500user amount is set by default. (we have 1800+) Can you still do single search and find user name?

Yes. I'm able to search and find user. Default is 500 but I have 145 users at the moment so it's not a problem for me.

Default Btw

Additional information: sort doesn't work only if you try to sort users from group menu - sorting when viewing users by server name works. Hope that would be helpful in your tests.

I have 4 BES 4.1.6 servers for Exchange and I have not been able to replicate this issue.
All are running on dedicated Windows 2003 servers, each one in it's own virtual machine on VMware ESX.

Default 4.1.6. BlackBerry Manager

I can confirm. Same issue here on every BES Installation after Upgrading to SP6.
My company hosts more than 2000 users on Exchange 2003 Mailboxes. BES config database runs on SQL Server.

When searching for usernames / displaynames in bbmgr you will find the user, but you will find also a lot of other user who has nothing to do with your search.
This behaviour doesn't occured on BES 4.1.4. After Upgrading to BES 4.1.6. (Update and New Install on New Hardware) we had this issue.

It is reported to RIM developement.

Workaround is only to search for the whole string "lastname, firstname"

regards
