My mates got an ordinary bluetooth capable phone, can I bluetooth a ringtone from my 8700 to his mobile and if so how do I go about doing it?

Thanx in advance for any help.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

No, you can't connect via bluetooth to another phone from the 8700.

Only with the 8100 - not on the 8700 now.

I have a 8125 pocket pc and i was able to beam ( via bluetooth ) some photos not ringtones yet form my 8125 to my bb 8100 with no problems.. just made both of them discoverable for other bluetooths . .. just as long as the phones can beam files then it might work ...imo
