Default 9810 - Can not delete list of call log entries

Please Login to Remove!

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem with 9810: I can not delete a list of call logs by holding the shift key and scolling through the list of calls - does not highlight multiple call entries, just moves down the list highlighting them individually.

I can highlight and delete call log entries one at a time - so the delete function itself is working.

Shift key+scroll does work on messages, etc. to highight multiple entries, so this problem seems specific to call logs.

I also did "Delete Prior" in the call log folder found in View Folder from the messages app (suggested on another thread here) - the log in the folder is gone, but the call log list from the phone application is still there.

Would appreciate knowing if anyone else has this issue with call logs.

I am running stock .261 official AT&T release.

BTW - I also tried using DTM and doing selective data deletion - call logs are dimmed and listed as "read only and can not be deleted".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks - this does not work on - perhaps it does on your 9800, but it does not work on the 9810.

Could very well be a bug; would you consider running a newer version not released by AT&T? I know .353 is out.

Thanks - I also posted this issue on Crackberry - a response from another user who is on .353 said he has the same issue

I talked with RIM Tier 2 support - they confirmed this is a known bug; has already been fixed - as soon as a carrier issues a new release with a bundle number higher than 1355, that release will have the fix.
