I've had my blackberry curve 9330 for a few weeks and love it. Beginning last night though, my browser has been really slow to load pages, or not load them at all. I phoned Verizon Wireless 4 times today, and they tried everything from a battery pull, re-registering, re-sending service books, etc and nothing helps. On the last phone call, the rep told me after checking that they Blackberry is experiencing sporadic outages and people have been calling all day. Has anyone else heard of this? Im not sure if this is true or the rep didn't know what else to say since they've apparently tried everything else.

I did download the latest version of software for Blackberry apps world yesterday after being nagged to death via emails and upon opening app world, so i thought that could be the problem, but they said no. Any advice?

Oh forgot to mention, email, bbm and everything is working fine...just problems with the browser. They did make sure it was configured correctly. Thanks.

What OS version are you running? It could be the OS. My advice to any one considering upgrading is that if your device is working as you wish, then it is not broken and does not need fixing with an OS upgrade.

You can check the network issues in out Carrier & Network Problems section.

Hi,

Not sure if this is right place for introduction but just wanted to share my experience in the same situations like yours. I had similar problem but mine was more worse as my email and bm too was not working.

Regards,
Carroll

Although VZW will not own up to it, my "understanding" is that they had an OC-192 go down. this affected ALL BIS and BES activations, web browsing and email. We were struggling with it most of the day yesterday but it seems to have settled down around 0200 this morning.
