I had some calendar entries originally created in Outlook that were also added to my device. I later deleted about 20 calendars entries in Outlook and then synced my device. The desktop manager is looking to add them back. That seems very odd.

Does the syncing only check the differences between my device and Outlook? It obviously also needs to keep track of the actions in case something is deleted as in this case.

Depends on how you set it to handle conflicts (desktop wins, handheld wins, etc.).

I have it set to notify me when there is a conflict. So I actually means it asks to add them - I just canceled at that point.

This is not actually a conflict. Deleting in Outlook and not touching those records on the device should be a clean sync, not a conflict i.e. changes on the same record since the last sync
