Default Transporter and issues with State database

Please Login to Remove!

PS: This is a long email as it summarizes several issues seen after migration.

We have Domino 8.5.1 FP2 on our servers.

The transporter works fine and moves the account. The users rarely notice any issues after migration to new server.

When I look at the state database, I notice the following types of issues

1. Two entries under "User Info" view. One of them is created when the account is moved. Deleting this account doesn't cause any harm, but causes #2.

2. Mail Folders View shows duplicates for several folders including $Inbox. Typically asking the user to disable/enable wireless reconcile resolves this issue.

3. Folder redirect for $inbox and Sent folders shows as "0" or disabled. User still receives email (both inbox and sent) and looks Folder redirection looks fine at user end. Issue can be resolved by flipping the redirect settings at the user end and it refreshes the server. It takes few attempts before server changes.

Contacted Tsupport and the resolution was acknowledged, but the big issue is that we are facing these on 80-90% of the migrations and we don't have a method to avoid these issues.

Any suggestions or your experience will help.

Your BESD is 5.0.1 and Transporter used is 5.0.1 too?

Default Transporter and issues with State databases (here too)

We are seeing the same problem here. Domino 8.5.1 FP2 and BES 5.0.1 MR1. When we use the Transporter to move the users, their reconciliation is painfully slow - sometimes taking hours to sync simple read/unread marks. Users created from scratch do not seem to have this problem, so evidence is pointing to the use of Transporter.

Does RIM have any solution or recommendation for this issue?

Thanks!
