I found this free program, but i cant get it to connect.
I have a bluetooth USB, but do I have to have a adapter plugged into the printer as well?
Is there a way I can use the Bluetooth USB to print from my BB
I have a Brother MFC-845cw and cant find anything on that.

I made the software for the Printstik an OTA download so you don't have to sync with desktop manager to install it, make sure u install all 4 files. If you dont know what the Printstik is go to www.planon.comfrom a PC.

After you install everything, if you take out your battery it loses the print option, you need to open up the settings manager and then "reload hooks" and then open printstik driver and it will reapeer.

Has anyone tried these drivers on a HP printer? I am trying to print out emails.

I have tried other programs also with same results. I send the command to print, the printer shows that it has recieved the info but just sits there and never actually prints anything.

I am successful when printing pintures though.

It's not really a "free program" meant to be distributed separately and used w/any BT printer, it's the BB SW/drivers developed by PlanOn to be used in tandem w/their BT printer called the PrintStik.

Might still work as you'd like it to, but wanted to ensure the source/intent of the SW is clear...

BTW - The BB (at least as of OS 4.3) can print photos to a BT printer w/out any additional software...just select the image and then click the BB key and choose "Send using Bluetooth" and then select as target a BT printer you have paired w/the Blackberry. Pick will print out centered on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet (I've only tried it on a BT printer that only supported 8 1/2 x 11 paper).
