Question BES Newbie Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I have a quick question about BES if anybody can help:

Our company wants to install BES.

Currently our BBs use BIS provided by Vodafone AU. BBs are connected to the 3G/2G wireless network via Vodafone and each user pays a monthly fee for this data service.

Once we install BES, how do we configure for the wireless network? What if different users have different phone carriers etc? Can we use the same wireless network provided to us by the phone carriers, in this case Vodafone? I do not really understand how BES works, only that emails are sent over a "wireless network"...

Thank you for any help.

The BES doesn't care what carrier the BB's are on.
