I'm a photographer/traveler and I always wanted to have a website where my friends could see my current position or when my gps is off, last registered position (last seen). Is there any software I could use to implement that. I can easly do it manualy having my holux and 8700 but it is not the same. As for today I use GPS, BB 8700G with my laptop to access my site and I enter manualy my position but real time and automatic would be great. any ideas?

What is it not doing? Keep in mind that this is in beta so it is buggy. Did you register?

MrKyoo: well; I know it is beta. I registered and even built myself a page with map but- when I opened the aplication on my blackberry it looked like it found the gps, was showing sat icon in the corner but on the screen I got only text "missing position" (i think) and when I went to Details the posotion never changed and was incorrect. I will try again after I got my gps receiver back. I lent it to my friend.

Go into your xxx8220;Prefsxxx8221; and change your Refresh Time too min 1, by default it is set to min 5. Your position will change depending on what your refresh time is set too.

I will try again tomorrow but now I'm thinking of getting cheap boost phone and use it only for tracking. I will travel and blog wirelessly using my bb and laptop and I would use boost pre-paid phone only for gps tracking.

I got prepaid Boost phone, uploaded mologo, wrote a little script and I got almost what I wanted. thanks for your help. Here are the results: Locate Wojtek

woyteg - would you be willing to share the script you wrote. Seems I can't get the one posed on their blog to work.

Also is there a wat to run the program in the background on a 7100i?

Sure thing, but I use a little bit of a modified version of what they have on the site. When it comes to BB7100 or any other, I didn't try it. I will try to run it on my 8700g (with holux GPS)
