I am not sure if what my boss is asking me can be done using BPS or if it's something that needs to be done inside Exchange 2007? Here's his email to me...

Andrew, when I was at CCBN, the I.T. prepared a file of all internal employees emails and contact info into the outlook application so that we can email them from the blackberry’s when we are on the road.

Is that something you can do? I can’t find any employees on my BB when connected remotely.

Not sure what he means "connected remotely"? He should be able to look up addresses using the standard lookup feature within the address book or email...

Sounds like he is asking for a DL (Distribution List)... That would be created in Exchange... Once created, it should be accessible through the lookup method.

If he is talking a local dl in outlook, I don't think that will sync to the BB with BPS.

Local Distribution Lists will not sync with the blackberry. You'd have to create a Global Distribution List to see it on the blackberry. I don't know how your company is set up but your boss should be able to email all internal employees by going through lookup. The blackberry looks up names using the Exchange Global Address List which includes all internal employees.
