Unhappy lock button

Please Login to Remove!

my lock button is malfunctioning. need help.

First, have you tried a battery pull with the power on, for at least 30 seconds.

If that doesn't fix the problem, provide more detail. What exactly doesn't work the way it should.

Not yet, but gonna try it. There are instances that when i locked my phone and after i few minutes or so when i try to unlocked it, it doesn't work no matter how many times i press the lock button.

Apparently his issue with the lock button anyway was an OS bug... or at least he reports it went away when he downgraded the OS.

If there's any change of moisture exposure, you should remove the battery now and go read the FAQ article on what to do if you get your blackberry wet.

Post an update.

I'd say if it was working properly and then not, with no other changes going on like an OS upgrade, then it's most likely a faulty or flakey button.

Tell us what customer service says. Just curious. And it will help those who search later.
