Default Opera-Mini on WIFI

Please Login to Remove!

I just install Opera-Mini on my BB Bold 9700 but I notice that when ever I browse the internet with Opera-Mini it is using the Telus data plan even if I'm connected to the WIFI in the office or else where.

When I use the BB browser it does use the WIFI connection when I'm in the office.

How can I configure to use Opera-Mini with the WIFI connection? I can't seem to find anything.

Shouldn't have to configure it. Mine works with Wifi when available. Try switching the protocol (advanced settings) to "socket".

I have tried both now, socket and http for protocol and it does not use the WIFI connection either way. I know that the WIFI works because the BB browser is using WIFI when available.

Any other ideas?

Another post but it seems to be unclear if the wifi is supported on Opera-Mini 5.1.

I will post on Opera-Mini forum
