Default GPS problem

Please Login to Remove!

hi,

i am currently developing a gps application for the bold 9700 (platform 5.1.0.90)

the application implements LocationProvider to get a gps fix every 10 seconds for keeping the gps-chip permanently hot.

it works perfect but when the phone has no gps-coverage (inside a building) for a longer time (over night) the application gets no more gps fixes!

the LocationProvider is still in AVAILABLE state and there is no deadlock or similar! there are just no more valid gps fixes while the providerStateChanged method is never triggered!

what causes this strange behaviour and how to solve it? has somebody experience with this?
