hello everyone! i just want to find out how did you guys set up your personal email accounts on your berries. i just got my blackberry torch, and although this is not my first blackberry device, i've been reading different ways to set your emails up.

for the record, the route i took was using the set up wizard on the phone. pretty straightforward and no glitches whatsoever. now, i have 3 email accounts getting pushed on my device. however, i've read somewhere that there are new features, enhanced plug in for gmail where you can have access to your entire email account. i tried following the instructions on the blackberry website by going to www.blackberry.com/integrate. however, when i click on the launch email set up, i get an http error and i couldn't go through. also, some of the information i've read is that you set up your email accounts using the bis website for your specific carrier. now, does that give you the same end result as just going through the email setup wizard directly on your phone? if so, how come i cannot have access to my other gmail stuff? any thoughts would be appreciated.

I use the enhanced Gmail plugin, After device switch in DTN 6, upon power up the service books were sent and I then confirmed the password. easy peasy lemon squeezy.

how did you do that? can you share your step by step instructions? i assume i would have to delete my gmail account that i've already set up through the email set up wizard on the phone, and start from scratch. please let me know. thanks!

i did do a search (which is what i always do prior to starting a new thread) and i didn't see an answer to my question. if you notice, i mentioned that i was able to set up my email just fine and emails are getting pushed without problems. and although the title of my thread was how to set up email, it was more than that. i wanted to find out specifically how to download the enhanced plug in for gmail, which was not working for me when i was following the instructions online (which was the purpose of my thread). the link you shared did answer my secondary question regarding setting it up via device or BIS site gives you the same end result. thanks for that!
