Default Deleting preloaded apps

Please Login to Remove!

Be careful deleting preloaded apps...I deleted myspace, twitter, and facebook...then I noticed I could not get on the internet or received emails any longer. I deleted the apps from the application management screen. Has anyone been sucessfull in deleting some of the bloated apps which came pre-installed?

How were you removing them?

They aren't apps but links to open a browser to install the apps. These links don't take up much space. They are part of the service books that get pushed to you from your carrier. If you remove them, they will likely come back sooner or later.

What has been suggested many many times over on this forum is to make a folder, drop those icons in the new folder then hide it.

If you don't wanna take my word for it, use the search tool and see what your find.

In a lot of cases, if you manage to delete and they are the carrier crapware apps, they will be pushed back. Better to hide.
