Default Blackberry mail flow simply stopped working suddenly with no changes

Please Login to Remove!

None of our blackberries can Synch any longer with absolutly no change to the system.
We are running Exchange 2003 & BBM 4.1.4.17, the phones are on the Verizon network. (New Curves) they were recently activated about 3 weeks ago and fine.
It was working for over 2 years and with no changes, even with recent cell provider changes, now around October 26th it simply stopped working.
we have about 8 phones with a last contact timeabout 4 days old. (October 26th)
no amount of rebooting phones, the exchange server or the blackberry server has done anything to help.

All services appear to be running.
when you test the blackberry router at srp.us.blackberry.net on port 3101, it connects to the blackberry system fine.

Database connectivity test works fine.
Validate SRP Key & ID also fine.
I have tried the right click on user and resending the service books from the user panel.
Any ideas?

This is probably in the wrong section. I assume you are using BES so I will move to the BES Admin section.

Have your users tried battery pulls?

Is the carrier's network up and running?

What order did you reboot the servers?

Do it in this order
DC, DNS, GC, Exchange, SQL, BES last

or is BES installed on the excahnge server?

Event log is your friend - BES is pretty verbose about what's wrong with it.

Are the Blackberries which have problem still able to use the Blackberry Browser to access internal websites or not ?
If not, and, if the devices which are still ok can: it might be a problem with Verizon.
But, as TargetIT recommended: read the logs, this is a good Idea in any case.

I remember a post a while ago that the BESAdmin went through hoops of troubleshooting only to find out that the accounting dept changed all the BES plans to BIS.

Check my signature on blue link to test it.

Yeah, good call. When BIS plans became a lot cheaper (ironically because of the iPhone), I got a call from our rep to move to these cheaper plans. Not thinking about it that much, I said sure! And boom, every BB stops responding a couple of days later.
