Default Which handset?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to the world of BlackBerry, currently use a Nokia 8600 for personal use and HTC-710 for work, but the look of BlackBerry has made me feel left out for too long now.

The question is, which handset? I really really love the look of the Pearl but I'm worried its an end-of-life outdated handset? I don't really want the Storm, I'd get an iPhone if I wanted that sort of handset and I just want a corporate looking traditional handest.

Any advice? Is the Pearl still worth signing into an 18 month contract for?

All depends which carrier you are going for....
I.e. Vodafone only offer the Storm in the UK (I presume you're in the UK)
O2, Orange, T-mobile and vodafone offer the Bold, and I think all offer the 8900 curve.

Also depends what you are looking for.
And which make pearl you are talking about.

I would suggest looking at the newer models, bold and 8900.
But really you need to work out which carrier you want first.
i.e. which gives you the best coverage where you need it.

Thanks, you are right, the Pearl has been discontinued, I now need to look at the Bold.

Will probably go with vodafone.

Hopefully you have more requirements than just "look"... It's difficult to give a meaningful recommendation without those requirements.

The "old" Pearl may be discontinued but they recently came out with a Pearl Flip.

Good luck!
