I am looking to get my very first bluetooth headset and was looking at a couple headsets today and am trying to whittle it down from these:

IOGear GBE201W7
Motorola HS820
Logitech Mobile Freedom
Motorola H500
Motorola HS805

Can you tell what my price range is? haha...

So...Which one do you have/recommend?

I'm using the Motorola HS850 with my 7290. Works great. I purchased mine from www.tigerdirect.com. At that time they had a special for $39.

I'm using the jabra bt250 ive used the hs850 and the hs 820......I would recommend looking at the cardo scala 500. I broke it in a drunken stooper one night but I will be getting another one here in a couple days.

I had the Jabra and threw it in the river. I since went to the Plantronic 640 and love it. I have to keep the volume on it's lowest setting (it's too loud). People i talk with report they can here me perfect and it fits my ear great all day with no pain or discomfort.
I recommend looking at the Plantronics.
I also recommend reading the other thread which discusses this in detail and also contains others reviews.

I have a Jabra BT500 and a Moto HS820. Both are fine with my 7100i, but I love the Jabra. It's loud, light, and is very clear on both ends.

As for the BT250v vs my BT500, I would throw it in the river also. I tried one for about an hour and it was terrible. The earpiece is too long on the top, kinda heavy, and lots of static.

I have a Flamingo. I love it. I know that it is not the most popular headset, but I have been very happy with it. I wear sunglasses or glasses when I am at my computer, and the Flamingo doesn't get in my way.

I have the HS820 and the Logitech Mobile Freedom. The Mobile Freedom has a high pitched squeal on the receiving party's end so the HS820 is my recommendation. No one has complained about the HS820's sound quality and it's extremely small and light. I have a 7105t on the Hong Kong 4.1 OS. BTW if anyone can help me with my Mobile Freedom problem I'd really appreciate it.

I have the Motorola HS-810, but I don't like it because I have trouble hearing most of the time. Maybe it's because I have big ears, and it doesn't sit in my ear canal. So I'm going to invest in a Jabra BT500 - I've heard alot of good reviews. And it has the interchangeable covers.

Hi, I use the HS810. (The one with the boomstick). Absolutely great! Comfortable, easy to use and pair, durable. And a really great thing? You can be sitting in a Baseball stadium, during a game? And the person you're talking to can hear you perfectly.

I have a jabra BTV250. This is my third Jabra under the first one's warranty. They kept developing cracks in the housing which led me to believe the guts were all going to fall out. A common problem I hear. Instead of fixing the defect (or feature, I am sure they would call it) they just kept sending me new ones. They work well, but sounds like the Motorolas are more durable.

I bought a Motorola H500 from ebay, just received it today. I like it so far, my first bluetooth anything so I dont know what to complain about. Only thing I noticed is when i take an incoming call, the volume is low at first then it kicks in. Fits comfortably on my ear and is hidden under my hair, so people think i'm talking to myself lol

Hi ... I also have the Plantronics 640 ... what did you have to order to charge it with the BB charger or the USB cable? Did you use one of the adaptors that came with the headset?

I am using the Oakley RazrWires with the Moto BT - on my 7520 - It sounded great! Perfect audio no issues, now that i switched to the 7100i - It is ok other then the further you get from the handset the more static you recieve - sounds good up close a few feet away - everyone I talk to say that it sounds good on thier end. Plus they are the most stylin BT out there..

I have use the moto hs805 (give it a 8). The fit was okay but it was very noisy out side. I have a jabra bt110 (give a 6). Its cool. More of the fit that I like in the ear but it cuts off after every use. You really have to answer on the phone and then turn the bt on. Both of those run on batteries (AAA). That I loved about both. You just change the battery when it dies and keep going. I now use a moto hs850 (it a 10). I is very clear. The distance is good and the comfort is great. The decision is really going to be personal one and everybody is going to have different feeling about every bt out there.
