not tethered, i get 9 Mbps or 1.21 MB/Sec on the device through the BB browser

and for comparison, my company LAN speed...

I have no idea. Maybe because I'm using the SmartView 2.25.0047? Could also be because I'm sitting underneath a booster antenna a work. Oh, wait, that wouldn't matter for the LAN speed test.

I dunno. I just work here.

Wow.. mobilespeedtest is saying 10.57 Mbps. I'm on verizon is this normal? I ran it 5 different times and it's all around that. I cant used speedtest.net on the bb browser

i got that with the 250 kb file, do the 3 mb file and it will go down

Yeah i did, I ran all of the different file sizes.. The 3mb was usually around 8 or 9. which isn't much less

what plans do you need to tether with on sprint?

I have the 450 everything data BIS on my 9630, and 900 everything data BIS on my 8130.

and everytime i call sprint to get tethering info they tell me im not allowed to at all, and wont tell me what plan i need to tether.

anyone mind sharing what plan your on?

I'm also on the Everything Data Plan but I have the Phone-As-Modem (PAM) add-on @ $15/month. (I'm connected anywhere from 8-12 hours daily.)

The only restriction I'm aware of is no PAM with Simply Everything Plans.
