Default The blue LED

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

Does anyone else think that the blue LED light that the newer BlackBerrys have when paired with another device via bluetooth is attractive? I do!

I was just wondering, is there any little mod, or trick, to make the blue LED permenant?

I'm using a Rogers 8310 Curve.

Thanks.

There are some 3rd party apps out there for setting the color of that led.

Thanks John,

Would you happen to know of the link to any/names of any? I can't seem to find anything on Google.

John,

I meant the LED indicator at the top right hand section of the BlackBerry Curve.

The link you posted looks cool, but it's only for the Pearl (8100) anyways.

Thanks though!

Hey there,
The pimp my pearl app works on the curve, it just doesn't work on the trackball. It does allow you to change the indicator light to any old color you want.

You could use BB Alerts and set all LED alerts to blue...but that defeats one of the key benefits of the LED combined w/BBAlerts, to alert you to different events w/different colors.

But if you like blue that much...

Why doesn't the curve or the 8800 have different colored trackballs too? :/
