When I sync with the desktop manager, the blackberry's time is reset to eniwetok.
why would that be?

Because in Desktop Manager you have the option to "sync with computer time" checked.
Cant remember where it is, and it may be called something different.
But look around in DM options for something along those lines.

I just noticed with this 9700 I just got, the time zone keeps changing. I just noticed again it was reset to central from eastern. I checked DM and the setting to set device clock is unchecked. But I left my netbook in central time zone. (I just use the netbook to backup and charge. Don't sync.) I'm wondering
if there is something else going on with Windows, or Windows + 9700. I can say for sure this doesn't happen with my 8820. Don't know what's causing it, yet. I'll have to look at it some more.
