Hi All,

Has anyone seen an issue where the occasional email can have all the accent left "à" gets replaced by a question mark?.

I have got it down to the fact that the original email must come from outlook and the reply from a BB. But it dosent happen every time, I have checked all encoding settings!

Is there somthing local on the handsets that could change the encoding?

Just as an example a user replied to a email chain and the issue occured. But we then sent him a test email and asked him to reply and it didnt!

I don't think you can change anything on the handheld, but it might make a difference if the mail was sent in HTML or Plain Text.

I have tired disabling all rich email content to no avail!

Really is a stinker this one. I cant replicate the problem
